From $ 520 USD

Per person (All-inclusive Door to Door service)

The walk from Cachora to Choquequirao has a distance of 60 km/40  miles  approximately, During these 5 days of walking, we will enjoy impressive landscapes. Our groups are small, for this reason our service is personalized.

Just like Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca and other Andean communities, Choquequirao is organized into two halves, or neighborhoods: the upper, or Hanan and the lower, or Hurin.

The upper unites various buildings related to religion, temples and fountains grouped around a plaza, great terraces irrigated by a series of channels, and deposits (or collcas) to store the products used to supply the local population. Half of the lower area accommodates great buildings, very well preserved, built around a wide open space.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR THE TREK?

Please read carefully the following information

IS IT FOR ME?

The choquequirao treks is a great alternative trek and better suited for more adventurous trekkers who are able to handle longer distances. Ascending to reach the famous inca site at 3,150m/10,397ft is not too strenuous since it is at the beginning of the trek, neither is it very steep, but it does require stamina and a little time in Cusco to acclimatize to the altitude before beginning the trek and you have to be very fit.

THE BRIEFING

This meeting will take place the night before the trek’s departure at 6 PM or at 7 PM in your hotel.
