SOCIAL PROJECTS

Social Projects: ever since peruwildtreks was first established we have been helping to spread some of the benefits brought by tourism to support the orphanages of abandoned babies through «peru wild treks«a large percentage of the profits made by peruwildtreks goes towards orphanages projects and traditional dance groups. since then we have continued to support the impoverished people in the andes, providing sports shirts, second hand clothing and have hired  a teacher  to assist with the traditional dances .

WE IMPROVE LIFE AND HELP NEWBORN BABIES FROM BIRTH TO 1 YEAR OF AGE THROUGH OUR CLIENT’S TRIPS.

WHEN YOU BOOK WITH PERU WILD TREKS, 5% OF THE COST OF YOUR TOUR WILL BE DONATED DIRECTLY TO SUPPORT THE ORPHANAGES OF ABANDONED BABIES THROUGH «PERU WILD TREKS«.

In the light of the babies abandoned by their parents, this company was born, and thanks to AYARINTY which means “PRINCE OF THE SUN”, my son was born in a national hospital.  I saw many babies crying inside the hospital and I saw the parents of some babies who had the possibility of being able to buy things their babies needed.   Other babies had no diapers.  The mothers felt sad to see their sons; that they were unable to buy the things they needed.   Some babies were abandoned in the hospital or on the streets.  For this reason the PERU WILD TREKS company decided to support abandoned babies or any baby that needs help. It is very sad when a baby cries when no one knows why the baby cries.  A person can feel helpless by not knowing what to do, especially if the baby doesn’t have the basics like diapers, clothes and medicines.

Peru Wild Treks is dedicated to promoting and organizing social projects for orphanages in Cusco City.  Tourism plays an important role in Peru’s economy, mostly in the Cusco region and provides employment for many people.  The small communities, however, are often denied direct financial support from large-scale commercial tourism by the government.

How do we support the babies?

5% of the income goes to the Charity Works. It would be too difficult for this company to give charity without our customers’ help.   They trust in this company to take them on their trips.  Peru Wild Treks not only provides great tours and services, this company also donates money to support the charities.   This benefits the orphanages and annually we promise to share the spirit of the Christmas holidays buying DIAPERS, BABY TOWELS, MILK, and by participating in activities that the institution offers.

By choosing and traveling with Peru Wild Treks, you can participate in and support the wonderful social works, bringing clothes or baby toys.  You will be supporting social works that this company is creating and sponsoring.

1.- Support to the orphanages

Each December, the company will select a specific orphanage for babies and then support from 10 to 20 babies.  Diapers, Clothes, or Medications are purchased according to what the orphanage requires.

2.- Christmas in the Andes (next social work)

All children anxiously await the arrival of Christmas in the Andes!!. Every Christmas, Peru Wild Treks will travel to one of the highest communities to share a moment of joy with local children.  Through a simple breakfast and Christmas gifts, along with a little dancing and lots of fun, the company will bring many smiles to children and old people alike.

The next social project for Peru Wild Treks, will be to bring local people who have not had the opportunity to go to Machu Picchu because of the cost that is expensive.  This will help them to reconnect with their culture.

In addition, we want to provide year tours for less fortunate children in remote villages of peru, the tour consists of a visit to Cusco and surrounding attractions  ending in Machupicchu, the most beautiful inca site. Most of these children have never left their village before,  or spent a night away from home, so to maximize their experience all the children will receive a photo album of their adventure at the end of their trip. Please help us continue this by choosing Peru Wild Treks. In advance, thank you for all your support and recommendations on TripAdvisor.

Our First charity of PERUWILDTREKS

Is set for December, the month of love, peace and kindness. First of all, we would like to thank all the people who recommended us and booked with Peruwildtreks. Thanks to your kind efforts, we have been able to hold our first ever charity event!

We have set aside 5% of every reservation made with us in 2019 and created a raffle. This year we were able to give the Amantany Children’s Home diapers and milk which were gratefully received with open arms. We are grateful to God and each one of the people who recommended and chose Peru Wild Treks for their adventure.

As a result of your efforts, we have been able to meet the needs of the numerous babies at Amantany home and we couldn’t be happier. While we were hoping to visit each and every baby, the amantany home’s policies and rules wouldn’t allow it. I don’t know if all orphanages have the same rules but here are some of the photos that we could take.

Thank you again for your support throughout 2019. We hope that, with your help, 2020 can be even better!
