Huancacalle Town – Starting treks
The bus ride to Huancacalle for 5 hours approx from Cusco. We will see many ecosystems along the way, and perhaps the best photo opportunities to capture the stunning landscapes of the Urubamba mountain range.
Along the Vilcabamba treks to Machupicchu you will see, Flora and fauna on this part of the trek. This is an incredibly varied, you will see many birds such as hummingbirds as well as plants such as coffee, coca and tropical fruits.
We will go deep into the cloud forest and the high jungle. In the afternoon we will be visiting the complexes of Rosaspata, and Nusta hispana (the white rock).
Most of the first day will be spent travelling by bus to the starting point of the trek. The visit to the Incan sites of Rosaspata and Nusta Hispana will be the highlight of our long day.
The historical significance of these places is perhaps one of the most fascinating parts of all Incan history.
